The Phoenix Sun’s Amare Stoudemire and his foundation, “Each One Teach One” has joined forces with Actor/Comedian Jackie Long and his “Think Green Worldwide” organization to generate awareness on environmental issues by taking a go green initiative.
Amare’s “Each One Teach One” foundation has made a significant move to aid the people of Sierra Leone and build water wells and a sports academy. He has also made various site visits to the water well and played basketball games with the Sierra Leonean team. Stoudemire and the “Each One Teach One” Foundation along with the “ZeeCD” Foundation will continue to partner up to bring more clean water to the country, as well as build an Academy.
Jackie Long’s “Think Green Worldwide” organization has taken it upon the planet to launch a green campaign with urban Hollywood and his comrades worldwide. Jackie’s eco-friendly, “Go Green Challenge!” offers a start for many with an aggressive approach to go green in ’09 and beyond.
Amare and Jackie’s partnership conveys their exuberance about helping the world and keeping a sustainable lifestyle.
